I tend to equivocate causing pain to someone, with actual hurt, when in many cases you were freeing the person from a situation, you were shoving him in the right direction, helping him to forget about some greater emotional pain. you know so I wouldn't want to doubt whether causing someone pain was the right thing or not according to mr diamond
