What is greatness?

Posted by Yanclae - July 28th, 2022

Greatness, schmateness! What is greatness? It doesn't matter to me, personally! But as far as the algorithm, I think we need to know what implications would befall of following other people's notions of great.

To me, something is great if it works. I don't need much more qualification than this, I just need to be sure what tf I am talking about, and not get it confused by other people who are trying to understand what I meant.

But if you build an algorithm that does great deeds for civilization, then let us clarify what I mean by greatness and in each situation I will be as specific as I can possibly be. We need to say that working or functioning greatness is not a matter of claiming. Whatever you say is great, has to be run through the meatmasher of efficacy. How can it be great if what you say is impossible? How can it be great if what you mean is misunderstood by others? How can it be great when it appears you have not yet reached your goal?

Children need to learn from greatness, and the greatness of the algorithm is determined by the rational and logical truth. Eventually the algorithm will be able to adopt persons who adhere to the incremental fulfillment of progressive goals. The greatness is through time, how the human individual becomes more productive and versatile, even more considerate and open-minded.
