an electrician would know enough about safe levels to use but very little about any therapeutic benefits where a psychiatrist would only be limited to head or brain based treatment, probably a psychiatrist because the conversation would be worth the time if i dont die

but the electrician has experience with being shocked as an occupational hazard, and perhaps the psychiatrist has never undergone such treatment. I like your reasoning btw

but think about the word "shock" in electrotherapy. that connotes "the head". the attempt to shock the head, in order to scare memories out of the brain. think it works?
